Woodcraft Series bongos — fit for any touring or recording musician, along with serious hobbyists, the Meinl Woodcraft Series bongos are built with special features like thicker rims, resonance shaping areas and unique heads for an exquisite sound
American white ash stave shells (antique mahogany burst finish, gloss) — solid American white ash staves are assembled based on uniform qualities like color and grain for a consistent sound — the shells are contoured to enhance resonance and project a fuller tone
True Skin cow skin heads for a classic, warm sound — outfitted with Meinl True Skin cow heads, their response leans toward more warmth and depth along with superb mid-range tone and an outstanding feel — the heads measure 7” and 9”
Meinl Free Ride Suspension System — the two individual drums are attached with the Meinl Free Ride Suspension system, a patented design that avoids holes being drilled into the shells — this allows for greater resonance and works with any bongo stand
Traditional rims (chrome plated steel) — 5 mm Meinl traditional TTR rims help the bongos respond with clarity and cut — this traditional style is great for players who need greater control and use the rim as part of their feel while playing
Includes tuning wrench — four 8 mm chrome plated steel tuning lugs on each drum allow you to dial-in your desired pitch easily — a tuning wrench is included with these bongos for quick, on-the-spot adjustments or head changes
